Scoliosis is an abnormal curvature of the spine. That curvature causes muscle imbalances which, in turn, can lead to muscle weakness. This weakness can leave a person more prone to injury when doing physical activity. Well, how do you fix muscle weakness? You exercise. But you just said... Exactly.
